Every time I smell the smell of Ivory soap it takes me back to when I was young. We always used Ivory bar soap. I even remember when I was little looking for a whistle in my dads reffing bag, and finding a bar of Ivory soap in there. Now that I have a family of my own, we don't use bar soap, but that is okay, Ivory has a line of body washes out. they are just as good if not better then the bar soap, but that is just my opinion. I received a MomVoxBox from Influenster, and I was so happy to see a bar of Ivory soap in it. So instead of it sitting on my shelf getting no use out of it, I made bath crayons for my son Jordan. He loved it he is a fish, would love to live in the water if he could and he thought it was so neat that he could draw in the shower and the bath tub. They were so easy to make to, anyone could do it.
Homemade bath Crayons
1 cup grated Ivory Soap
1/4 cup warm water
Food Coloring
Plastic Cookie cutters
Mix water, soap & food coloring together in med. size bowl. Stir the crayon mixture until it begins to stiffen. Remove the mixture from the bowl and knead until it is the consistency of a very thick dough. Spoon Crayon Mixture into plastic cookie cutters or other plastic molds (playdough molds work great too!). Press down firmly. Place the plastic cookie cutters in your freezer for 10 mins or in your refrigerator for 30 mins. When firm, Pop the bath crayons out of the cookie cutters (or other molds) and allow them to air dry overnight or until hard.

The great thing about this is that the Ivory is 99.44% pure so it is safe for your little ones skin. It is also free of dyes and heavy perfumes. It is so cheap to, you can find a 10-pack of Ivory bar soap retails for around $4.49.
I want to say a big thanks to Influenster and Ivory. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster and Ivory as a participant in the Mom VoxBox campaign
